Welcome to this year’s Carl Gustaf Bernhard lecture on “Interactions between wolves and elk and the role of risk effects in predator-prey dynamics” with prof. Scott Creel 2010-09-15 6 p.m. at by The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The lecture is arranged by The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences’ Class for biosciences.

Scott Creel is professor of ecology at Montana State University. He has conducted field studies of the behavior, ecology, physiology and conservation of carnivores since 1987, including research on dwarf mongooses in Serengeti National Park, African wild dogs in the Selous Game Reserve, and wolf-elk interactions in Yellowstone National Park. His current research examines predator-prey interactions in the Olkiramatian – Shompole Community Conservation Area in Kenya's South Rift Valley. He is the author of more than 70 scientific publications, including a book, 'The African wild dog: behavior, ecology and conservation'.
